editDescriptionSkrinet från Jäla - Jäla kyrka Västergötland Sweden.jpg |
English: Skrinet från Jäla (swedish:The shrine from Jäla) is a wooden shrine cover in gilded copper plates, that dates back to late 12th century. The latin inscription says that it once contained fragments of John the Baptist's head. The shrine once stood in Jäla church, but is now on display at Västergötlands museum in Skara, Sweden.
