Description
Norsk bokmål: Skybergstua på Gjøvik gård er trolig Gjøviks eldste boligbygning (Ref: Lissie Norland, tidligere konservator ved Mjøsmuseet). Huset er en midtkammerbygning. Bygningen er et av byens eldste trehus og var opprinnelig et våningshus på plassen Holmen under Hunn gård. Senere ble det boligen for han som drev mølla for gårdbrukeren på Hunn. Det var en viktig ressurs og mølleren fikk lov å bo der mens han drev mølla. Holmen Brænderi kjøpte stedet i 1854 som tjenestebolig for brennerimesteren. Bygningen har fått navnet Skybergstua etter bryggerimester Skyberg, som var den siste brennerimester ved Holmen Brænderi som bodde i huset. Huset ble flyttet til Gjøvik gård i 1993.
