English: Sledmere Fire Station (disused), Sledmere, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Once the least busy station within the Humberside area (only 20 callouts in 2007), the Retained Duty System station had trouble in recruiting firefighters from within the Sledmere area. This need had in the past been met through the employees of the nearby Sledmere House. |
