English: Probably one of Benjamin S. Downing's teams. Benjamin S. Downing was born August 1861 in Maine. Before moving to Alaska in 1897, he was living in Rochester, New Hampshire, and working as a stock shipper. In 1900, he was living on the Yukon River north of Eagle and was working as a U.S. mail contractor. He also operated the B.S. Downing Eagle & Dawson Stage Line Caption on image: A Load of Caribou Horns Warner [2096] Filed in Alaska series.
