Summary edit
DescriptionSlopes of Western Beacon - geograph.org.uk - 1273768.jpg |
English: Slopes of Western Beacon. The reason that Western Beacon can be seen from so much of South Devon is that so much of South Devon can be seen from Western Beacon (although this is taken from the same spot as 1273730, rather than the summit area). This is a small sector of the view. The wooded valley is that of the Lud Brook (see 1273472) and the prominent lane on the right is winding up from Combe Cross to Whiteley Cross. |
