Summary

Description
English: The deep gully of Djævlekløften, at Hørhaven. Djævlekløften translates as Devil's Gap or Devil's Chasm in English. A small stream runs at the bottom and empties into the Bay of Aarhus on the left, just outside of this photo. The stream is called Vagtmesterbækken (English: the warder stream). Fallen and dead trees are left to decay. This is a deliberate attempt to better the conditions for many plants and animals in the forests and increase the biodiversity. At the same time, it makes the experience of nature more authentic and diverse.
