English: Small Lake on Llantysilio Mountain Looking more like a bog than a lake at this point, the recent heavy rain may have raised the water level. A narrow path, unmarked on the map, heads away from the lake over the next small hill, whilst the overflow from the lake runs down to the valley from the left-hand end of the wet area. The very small rounded hill in the very far distance, on the left, is Castell Dinas Bran, which stands guard over Llangollen. |
