Summary

edit
Description The mass of wind pressed snow in the very top edgy region of a mountain or saddle or pass is called cornice. The one in the foreground has a height of a few meter, whereas the one to the left is far more behind than appears and its height can not be assumed. This is a remote location on the border of the Hintertux glacier ski area, however far from the glacier itself.
