Description
English: Parts of the #Soberanes Fire burned with vigor on Wednesday as temperatures climbed into the mid-90s in the interior of the fire. Burned acreage increased by 1,009 acres for a current total acreage of 102,499 acres on California’s largest wildfire of the season. Containment remains at 60 percent. There are currently 1,200 personnel working on the fire. The most active burning was in Zigzag Creek, north of the North Fork of the Big Sur River (photo below by Rich Webster) and above Willow Creek where the sun was not obscured by smoke.
