Description

While passing what appeared to be a typical grand but derelict building, a local asked where I came from and on hearing it was England he asked if I knew Ronnie Scott or Courtney Pine. Having explained I knew of them, he said did I want to come in and see some of the local jazz musicians rehearsing.

The inside of the building turned out to be a surprise with an 2nd floor open courtyard with rehearsal rooms, cafes, meeting rooms etc. Plus as well as a local jazz club there was also the local dominoes club
