Description

É um edifício barroco de dois andares e dotado de capela privada, que perteuceu à família Morais Sarmento e Campilho. Edifício de dois andares com enormes portas e janelas rasgadas na larga cornija de cantaria a delinear os ditos andares. A rematar este conjunto, o Brasão da família, dividido em pala; à direita, as armas dos, Sarmento, à esquerda, as armas dos Morais.

Do lado Sul destaca-se uma larga varanda em madeira magnificamente trabalhada de traça tipicamente transmontana.

A capela é abnegada a Nossa Senhora da Oliveira e ostenta grandiosa fachada de três andares, erguendo-se o coroamento acima da frontaria do próprio solar. Este templo ostenta um vocabulário rococó sendo evidente em termos regionais, com portal inscrito em moldura tortuosa, a que se sobrepõe um janelão tubulado.
