Localizado na sede do concelho, o Solar dos Pachecos foi o local onde, segundo a tradição, Duarte Pacheco, assassino de D. Inês de Castro, se refugiou antes de fugir para Espanha. Este Solar foi pertença da família de Duarte Pacheco Pereira, um dos heróis portugueses que partiu para a Índia no século XVI.
