Grassau im Chiemgau (Oberbayern): Das Soleleitungsmuseum Brunnhaus Klaushäusl zeigt eine historische Pumpstation an der einstigen Soleleitung. Mit dieser „Pipeline“ wurde Salzwasser von 1810 bis 1958 von den Solequellen in Reichenhall und Berchtesgaden zur Salzherstellung nach Rosenheim befördert. Im Klaushäusl steht die originale "Solehebemaschine", konstruiert von Georg Reichenbach (1771 - 1826). Zur täglichen Förderung von 300 Kubikmeter Sole wurde die Pumpe von einem wasserbetriebenen Hubkolben-Motor, einer "Wassersäulenmaschine" angetrieben. Am Hang über der ehemaligen Pumpstation liegt die Hochreserve. Dorthin wurde die Sole aus den unteren Solebecken den Berghang hinauf in die Vorratsbecken gepumpt. |
