Summary edit

Description
English: Walter Battiss Art Museum, 45 Paulet Street, Somerset East. This Georgian double-storeyed building was originally erected in about 1815 by Lord Charles Somerset for officers and presumably also soldiers who were stationed on the Eastern Frontier. The Victorian verandah was added later. It now houses a collection of art by Walter Battiss.
