Description
Deutsch: Sommerlager des DPSG-Pfadfinderstammes Ägypten-Straßlach nördlich von Beucherling am Regen, 1987. Versprechensfeier für einen angehenden Leiter. Der Stammesführer überreicht nach den Versprechensworten das graue Leiterhalstuch. Der frischgebackene Leiter trägt die offiziellen Abzeichen und ein DPSG-Hemd mit Schulterklappen, wie es bis 1982 hergestellt wurde. Der Stammesführer hat das 1965 eingeführte und damals unbeliebte DPSG-Klufthemd an, das nur eine Brusttasche mit einem Riegelverschluß besitzt. Wegen dieser Unbeliebtheit wurde bereits 1971 das Klufthemd in der Form eingeführt, wie es bis 1982 vom DPSG-Rüsthaus St. Georg ausgeliefert wurde. Ein Wildling sieht dem Treiben der Erwachsenen zu. Für den hier zum Leiter ernannten Pfadfinder wurde dieses Lager zum Abschied aus der aktiven Pfadfinderei. Später wurde er ein international tätiger, erfolgreicher Geschäftsmann. Das Versprechen des Stammes war stets das 1930 in der DPSG eingeführte, das da lautete:
„Ich verspreche bei meiner Ehre,
daß ich mein Bestes tun will,
Gott, der Kirche und dem Vaterland zu dienen,
jederzeit und allen Menschen zu helfen und
dem Pfadfindergesetz zu gehorchen.“

Der anschließende Zusatz, der den „Grundlinien unserer Lebensauffassung“ von 1971 geschuldet war, lautete:

„Ich will zum Stamm Ägypten gehören
und verspreche den Leitlinien zu folgen.“
