| Description |
English: With its prominent tent-roofed turret, half-timbered stucco façade, and the prominent bargeboards on the gables, the Carriage House at Sonnenberg Gardens State Historic Park exemplifies the Queen Anne style while simultaneously foreshadowing the Tudor Revival style that would come to prominence as the 19th century gave way to the 20th. Nowadays it's a building of many uses: it houses Sonnenberg's gift shop, the Finger Lakes Wine Center (where the products of over 40 area farms and vineyards are available to sample or purchase), and is also available to rent as event space. As seen in August 2021. |
