Description U.S. Army Staff Sgt. James Hazel, 1055th Transportation Company team leader, guides a forklift as it loads sandbags from the Wateree River Correctional Institution in Rembert, South Carolina, Oct. 12, 2016 to be transported to the Florence Armory and distributed to areas in need as part of continued recovery missions in the aftermath of Hurricane Matthew. At the peak, the South Carolina National Guard had approximately 2,800 Soldiers and Airmen activated to support state and county emergency management agencies and local first responders after Gov.
