Description
English: A new report on the conflict in South Sudan's Western region of Equatoria is characterised by a hallmark of abductions, forced child soldier recruits and sexual slavery of girls as young as 12 years old. The point report by the UN Human Rights Office and the Peace keeping mission, UN Mission in South Sudan(UNMISS) describes the plight of civilians caught up in the fighting, highlighting cases of abuses committed by the Pro-Machar Sudan People's Liberation Army(SPLA) against civilians in the state of Gbudue and Tambura, Western Equatoria.
