This area of road used to be called 'Norton Shute' - Norton because a (now disappeared) property on the left was called 'The Norton' and Shute because water would shoot across the road there. The water still runs but now mostly in a tiny stream to the left of the bank shown. Village website at www.llanteg.co.uk |
