Русский: Южная, а за ней – северная башни собора. Для постройки этого знаменитого архитектурного сооружения потребовалось 632 года и 2 месяца.

В 1248 г. был заложен первый камень в фундамент сооружения, которое предназначалась для хранения величайшей христианской святыни – саркофага трех королей (волхвов) В 1260 г. в соборе уже шли богослужения. К 1300 г. был построен и хор. В 1360 г. началось строительство южной башни, которую к 1410 г. довели до второго яруса на высоте 55 м. В 1560 г. из-за отсутствия средств работы были приостановлены. Затем наступило время иной архитектуры и лишь в начале 19 в. в эпоху романтизма снова возник интерес к готике.

Гете, написавший книгу «О немецком зодчестве», в 1815 году вновь поставил вопрос о достройке собора. В 1842 прусский король Фридрих Вильгельм IV распорядился возобновить работы. В 1863 г. обе башни были доведены до высоты 157,37 м., а 15 октября 1880 г. в присутствии кайзера Вильгельма I строительство было в торжественной обстановке завершено.

Für den Bau dieses berühmten architektonischen Gebäudes dauerte es 632 Jahre und 2 Monate. In 1248 wurde der erste Stein in das Fundament der Struktur gelegt, die für die Lagerung des größten christlichen Schreins bestimmt war-Sarkophag der drei Könige (Magi) In 1260 gab es bereits Gottesdienste in der Kathedrale. Im Jahr 1360 begann der Bau des südlichen Turms, der bis 1410 zur zweiten Stufe auf einer Höhe von 55 m führte. Im Jahr 1560 wurden wegen des Mangels an Arbeitsmitteln suspendiert. Dann kam die Zeit einer anderen Architektur und erst zu Beginn des 19. Jahrhunderts. in der Zeit der Romantik entstand wieder das Interesse an der Gotik.

Goethe, der das Buch «über die Deutsche Architektur» schrieb, stellte 1815 erneut die Frage nach der Fertigstellung der Kathedrale. In 1842 hat der preußische König Friedrich Wilhelm IV. die Arbeit wieder aufgenommen. 1863 wurden beide Türme auf eine Höhe von 157,37 M. und am 15. Oktober 1880 wurde in Anwesenheit von Kaiser Wilhelm I. der Bau in einer feierlichen Umgebung abgeschlossen.

In 1248, the first stone was laid in the Foundation of the building, which was intended for the storage of the greatest Christian Shrine – the sarcophagus of the three kings (Magi) In 1260, the Cathedral already had services. By 1300, the choir was built. In 1360, the construction of the southern tower began, which by 1410 was brought to the second tier at an altitude of 55 m. In 1560, due to lack of funds, the work was suspended. Then the time has come for a different architecture, and only in the early 19th century in the era of romanticism re-emerged interest in the Gothic.

Goethe, who wrote the book "On German architecture", in 1815 again raised the question of the completion of the Cathedral. In 1842 the Prussian king Friedrich Wilhelm IV ordered to resume work. In 1863, both towers were brought to a height of 157.37 m, and on October 15, 1880, in the presence of Kaiser Wilhelm I, the construction was solemnly completed.
