Description
English: Southern Vectis 1145 Reeth Bay (HW09 BBZ), a Scania CN270UD 4x2 EB OmniCity, on Sandown Esplanade, Isle of Wight, on route 8. Between 20 December 2009, when it was extended to Ryde to replace other routes, and 17 April 2010, when it was re-routed along other parts of Sandown to improve reliability, route 8 served the Esplanade. Ironically it only served the seafront during the winter, and indeed this bus is seen here in the pouring rain, squeezing between a van and a post on the other side of it.
