| Description |
English: Southern Vectis 1147 Horseshoe Bay (Culver) (HW09 BCF), a Scania OmniCity, on route 7. It is on the A3055 Military Road, Isle of Wight, seen between Compton and Freshwater, while heading across Afton Down towards Brook. From the 5 September 2010 timetable changes, route 7 was revised. Its previous circular structure was changed, buses only running over the previous top section from Newport to Alum Bay via Shalfleet and Yarmouth. The Calbourne and Newbridge section was completely abandoned by Southern Vectis. The previous "bottom" section of the route, from Alum Bay to Newport via Brighstone, was replaced by limited service 12. Route 7 no longer serves the area in this photo, this section was replaced by the 12. |
