Summary edit

Description
English: Southern Vectis 195 Binnel Bay (HW52 EPU), a Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President, turning off St George's Way into Furrlongs, Newport, Isle of Wight, on route 8. Due to high loadings and busy traffic, the operation of route 8 had gone to pieces on this day, and this photograph was taken from another route 8 bus (they are meant to run every half an hour). The bus the photo was taken from was OmniCity 1114 (HW58 ATK), it left the bus station on time but very shortly caught up with 195 by Coppins Bridge. After stopping the other bus at Furrlongs, all the route 8 passengers were put on 195 and 1114 came out of service. 195 went through this pedestrian crossing on amber. After pausing and realising that no pedestrians wanted to cross, 1114 went through the red light. While the driver shouldn't have done this, if he hadn't he would never have got 195 to stop. Fortunately, when 195 stopped at a bus stop to pick someone up, as 1114 had gone through the red light the driver was able to run to the bus in front, and agree with the other driver that all the passengers should be moved onto one bus. Otherwise, the two buses would have probably run together for the whole route.
