English: Southern Vectis 313 (HW54 BUU), a Dennis Dart SLF/Plaxton Pointer 2 MPD, in Upper Moorgreen Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, on route 1. Due to Cowes Christmas Carnival, the centre of town was closed off meaning buses could not get to the Co-op or Red Jet. To divert, Park & Ride route 1s turned off Newport Road left into Mill Hill Road, left into Bellevue Road, left into Upper Moorgreen Road (seen here), right into Brooklands Road, and then left into Park Road, thereby picking up the Round House route and returning to Newport. |
