English: The rears of Southern Vectis 453 St Catherine's Point (HW07 CXT), a Mercedes-Benz Citaro, and 1147 Horseshoe Bay (Culver) (HW09 BCF), a Scania CN270UD 4x2 EB OmniCity, heading up Well Road, East Cowes, Isle of Wight, both on route 5. Road works at Whippingham had caused long delays and the 5 had bunched, with buses running one behind the other, as seen here. Citaro 453 has since been moved and entered service with Bluestar in Southampton in March 2010. Likely due to the traffic chaos, the driver of 453 drove out of East Cowes still showing "East Cowes" on the destination display, forgetting to change it to "Newport". |
