English: A field on the southern edge of the Swan's Landing Archeological Site, located on the Ohio River at the end of Lickford Bridge Road north of New Amsterdam in Washington Township, Harrison County, Indiana, United States. Once used by Early Archaic peoples as a factory for stone tools, it is one of the most important Early Archaic archaeological sites in eastern North America. It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. |
