| Description |
English: This picture was taken in November 2013. This place is known as Souzo Mouzo Kumb in local language. Meaning attached with this lake is archaeological history and socio-cultural connotation of Baloch tribes.
Souzo and Mouzo were two sister of Mir Chakar Rind (1468–1565) a famous Baloch chieftain who fought with Laashar tribe in these mountains. When the battle ended and Chakar became victorious at that time some of tribesman gave false and incorrect message to her sister that he lost battle. Therefore both Souzo and Mouzo jumbed into this Kumb (lake) wearing a heavy metal in their necks committed suicide to escape to handover theirself to Lashaar tribe. People visit this place occasionally, however local villagers of Wahi Pandhi visit this place for purpose of fishing and outing. This place has archaeological history as well, some of local archaeologist found rock art and ancient language written on these rock and also depiction of two sister in these mountains. |
