English: WASHINGTON—House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) issued the following statement after hosting a bipartisan meeting with Argentine President Mauricio Macri:

“Today’s visit by President Macri is a symbol of the enduring partnership between the United States and Argentina. We had a productive meeting about working together on a wide range of issues, particularly in the fields of energy and cybersecurity, and addressing ongoing turmoil in Venezuela. America is determined to strengthen our important alliance with President Macri and the people of Argentina in the years to come.”

NOTE: Today’s meeting took place in the Speaker’s office in the U.S. Capitol. Participants included:

House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)
