Description
English: Political cartoon of a silk manufacturer in Paterson, New Jersey who is holding the black anarchy flag in front of Uncle Sam on which is written "To hell with your laws! I'll get Haywood. Elizabeth Flynn, or anyone else who interferes with my profits. In the silk merchants hand is a torn paper which says laws, and beneath his feet are torn pages with free speech law, right to assemble, and child labor law.. The caption to the image reads "Speaking of anarchy". The image is by Art Young and is in reference to the Paterson silk strike and comes from the June 1913 issue of The Masses.
