Description
English: Special train at Lisburn
The 1979 gathering of the County Antrim lodges of the Orange Order was held at Ballinderry on the now mothballed Lisburn - Antrim line. This required the running of some special trains by Northern Ireland Railways but, as there were no stabling facilities at Ballinderry, all trains returned to Lisburn after depositing their passengers. Headed by 80-class DMBSO No. 92, an empty special enters Lisburn. Another view of the signal gantry may be found: J2664 : Signal gantry, Lisburn station.
