Description
English: Sculpture "Speeltuin NAP" (Play garden NAP) by Frank Halmans in 2003. Placed at the Charlotte Köhlertuin in Heerhugowaard. NAP means Normaal Amsterdam Peil. It represents the sea-level. Heerhugowaard lays below the sealevel. To illustrate that the artist placed the playgarden exactly at the height of the sea-level on poles. Not everyone was amused. There's a warning sign in front of the sculpture that warns children not to climb the sculpture.
