Summary

Description
English: Spigot Mortar Point, Brompton (2). This is a different feature from the one in 616952 It would have supported a mortar and was part of a chain of defences intended to repel an invasion from Nazi Germany during World War 2. Fortunately it never needed to be used in the end.
