Italiano: Spirito Santo in Prato, L'artista si ispira a un’incisione di Dürer per l’originale iconografia dello Spirito Santo che scende sulla Madonna e sugli Apostoli come una pioggia di fiammelle e ambienta la scena in un interno domestico caratterizzato dagli oggetti posti sul camino e dalla finestra aperta sul cielo terso. Si può inoltre apprezzare pienamente il sottile gioco di contrappunti fra zone in ombra e il gusto ritrattistico dell’artista nelle belle teste degli Apostoli, in una delle quali, in primo piano, in basso a destra, alcuni dicono di raffigurarci un autoritratto. E’ di notevole immediatezza anche l’atmosfera raccolta, che trasmette il senso della solennità e la ricchezza del messaggio di fede propria dell’evento sacro. |
