Description
English: Starting building construction of a new house in Thailand, spirits shall be pleased with offerings. Monks at a temple has calculated the "lucky day" to start the work. Beside offerings at the first post to be cast in cement, additional offers and incense sticks are placed on the ground – looks like the guardians of my future house like to smoke a good cigar. (Koh Samui, Thailand, 2009)
Dansk: Ved starten af nybygning i Thailand, skal ånderne tilfredsstilles med offer. Munke i et tempel har udregnet "lykkedagen" at begynde arbejdet. Ud over ofringer bundet til den første pæl, der støbes, placeres yderligere offergaver på jorden – ser ud til skytsånderne ved mit kommende hus kan lide at ryge en god cigar. (Koh Samui, Thailand, 2009)
