English: Spot Height 218 North of Loch Orodale. A few moments later I climbed this height and the views were amazing. The following is an excerpt from an email I received from local farmer John Armour regarding this picture: "this photo taken from inside the Lochoradale forest is looking onto my farmland, the hill you climbed has always been known by our family and other locals as the "silver knowe" due to the fact that the stones around the knowe glisten in the sun. I have to agree with you about the view I always make a point of stopping on top of the hill to take in the view when I'm out gathering the sheep." |
