Ball-and-stick model of the square antiprismatic transition metal chloride complex [Os2Cl8]2− as found in the crystal structure of bis(tetra-n-butylammonium) octachlorodiosmate(III), (Bu4N)2[Os2Cl8], determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction and reported in J. Am. Chem. Soc. (1986) 108, 4850-4855 (CSD entry DUGLEW).
