Summary edit

Description
English: Plot of drop-height h versus clip-radius R in units of the table height H for a square-object dropped on Earth if air-resistance can be neglected, so that the very edge of a square's side "clips" the table on the way down. Contours denote the number of turns made before contact with the floor. The vertical black line corresponds to typical dimensions for a square piece of toast. If that piece of toast starts "butter-side up", then you probably want to avoid dropping from heights which result in a half-integral number of turns on the way down.
