| Description |
This group of boys was travelling the length of the tracks for a weekend excursion and were having a lot of (questionably intelligent) fun leaning way out of the doors. It didn't take much for me to convince them to give me some hamming for the camera as I (questionably intelligently) leaned way out the train door. Spending the ride at the doors was far more enjoyable than stuck in a seat, even one by the window. A bit of advice: If you are taking the train, get a seat or place to stand on the right side of the train (in the direction of Colombo-Kandy-Badulla) as the views are consistently better (the tracks usually follow the left side of the valley). |
