English: Ezequiel Moreno y Díaz[1] Ezekiel Moreno y Diaz was a member of the Order of Augustinian Recollects and now venerated as a Saint in the Roman Catholic Church. He was born on 9 April 1848 in Alfaro, La Rioja, Spain and later on served as a missionary to the Philippines. He also became the Bishop of Pinara and later of Pasto, both in Colombia. His brother Julián Moreno, OAR is also venerated as a Blessed because of his martyrdom in Motril. He is invoked as the Patron of Cancer Patients.
1795 St. Joseph Parish Church, Las Piñas[2] is the Roman Catholic church of the parish of Las Piñas[3], just south of the city of Manila in the Philippines. The church is renowned as the house of the Las Piñas Bamboo Organ[4], a pipe organ made mostly with bamboo pipes. To the right of the church is an old Spanish convent converted into a gift shop and the entrance for observing the organ up close. Also in the church complex is St. Joseph's Academy, a primary and secondary education school established in 1914. Coordinates: 14°28'51"N 120°58'53"E[5]P. Diego Cera Avenue Poblacion Las Piñas, Metro Manila[6] The parish falls under the jurisdiction of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Parañaque[7]. The parish priest of the Las Piñas church is Rev. Msgr.
