English: St. Benet's Abbey gatehouse A lot has been said in other photos about this unusual building, where the mill was built inside/outside of the former gatehouse to St. Benet's Abbey. Trying to fit a tall round building around a short flat one has led to some interesting brick patterns.
This is looking up at the now open top of the mill, whilst one of the archways of the gatehouse can be seen at the bottom of the picture. |
