Description

Interior of Saint Göran (St. George) medieval church ruin outside the city wall surrounding Visby inner town. The church was the church of the leprous in Visby, and close to the church was a leper hospital. Watercoloured drawing by Jacob Wilhelm Gerss, from 1807. The Hanseatic town of Visby is today a UNESCO World Heritage.

Interiör från Sankt Görans medeltida kyrkoruin utanför ringmuren som omger Visby innerstad. Kyrkan var de spetälskas kyrka i Visby, och intill kyrkan låg ett spetälskehospital. Akvarellerad teckning av Jacob Wilhelm Gerss, från 1807. Hansestaden Visby är idag ett världsarv på UNESCO:s världsarvslista.
