English: St. Gwynno's church, Vaynor. A Victorian church built in 1870 on the instructions of ironmaster Robert Crawshay. Built to replace an older church very close by. Built on condition that the worshippers here also funded a new church for the rapidly growing suburbs of Merthyr Tydfil where workers flooding in needed a church. |
