Description
English: Located in Portland, OR's St. Johns neighborhood is the St. Johns Library. It's right across the street from James John Elementary School and is next to a church. It's part of Multnomah County's library system. Constructed around 1913, this library is a neighborhood landmark and anchor. It's been closed for months due to the COVID pandemic, but is open to allow patrons to pick up holds.

In the mid-1980s, the city of Portland's Historic Resource Commission conducted a survey of some 5,000 historic sites. The Historic Resource Inventory features a variety of items. The St. Johns Library is one of the sites listed (ID:50328).
