English: St Andrew's Church, Aysgarth Quite large, indicating Aysgarth's former importance and reflecting the large area of the ecclesiastical parish, which included several of the surrounding civil parishes and extended right up to Hawes. Apart from the medieval base, the tower was rebuilt in 1866 (information from Pevsner). |
