English: St Anthony's Church, St Anthony in Roseland, south doorway. Hidden away behind Place House (but on the South West Coast Path) is the church of St Anthony. Only the church spire can be seen from the front of Place House. This 13th century church became derelict following the dissolution of the monasteries but was sympathetically restored in 1850. Pictured here is the Norman south doorway. |
