Summary
editDescriptionSt Austell 43185.jpg |
English: St Austell station in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The line west of here is closed for scheduled engineering works and so trains are having to reverse here. The driver of a First Great Western service has walked to 43185 which is the rear power car and turned on the headlights. Meanwhile the signaller (in orange) has used the ground frame to reverse the points to allow the train to move out of the station into a siding, from where it will be able to return to the eastbound platform ready for its journey up to London. The coach in the car park on the right is waiting to carry passengers onwards to Truro. |
