English: St Illtud's Church, Caldey Island (Ynys Bŷr) This is the 13C church attached to the Old Priory. The dedication to St Illtud was made in 1897, when the church was restored. The blocked-up windows were inserted in the 18C. The spire was probably added to the tower in the 15C or 16C. (Information from the Pevsner Guide) |
