Description
English: St James, Tedstone Delamere. The ancient churchyard cross. Dating from the 14th century, the base and possibly the shaft are original. The square head is 17th/18th century and once supported a sundial. In his restoration, Scott plonked a Victorian cross on top to finish it off. The original head, now very much worse for wear, is in a glass case by the lychgate.
