English: St Margaret's church - the war memorial The war memorial is situated just west of the south porch on a small island of its own, by the path leading into the churchyard.
St Margaret's church > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1313463 - https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1313464 is located beside the Old Rectory. Built of flint, it used to have a thatched roof before being almost completely rebuilt in the mid-18th century, when the tower and octagonal apse were added. The church houses a number of fine memorials and an ancient ledger stone which has been mounted on the tower wall. This church is kept locked but a key is available (provided the keyholder is home).
