Description
English: The font, is of the 12th century and is said to have been brought from Maxstoke Abbey. It is circular, with twelve arcaded niches containing figures of the Apostles, and stands on a modern circular base of two steps. Sir Henry Parkes was Baptised here on July 10th 1815, the son of Thomas Parkes and Martha Faulconbridge.
